Hi, My name is Hector Ruiz, I used to have a house that like many other houses was worth a lot less than the mortgage on it, matter of fact my house had 2 mortgages. I was struggling to make the payments, and i pay someone to modify my loan, he ripped me off with my money and nothing, Todd Mcdonagh, knocked on our door one day asking if we wanted to do a short sale, I said I was not interested, he kept banging on our door, we kept rejecting him because we thought that we were getting our loans modified.
I was wrongly advised not to do a short sale, I was told it did not work, that we had to pay taxes on the balances and they might even come after us for the unpaid balance A couple of months later, after his persistence, and after learning that the modification would never come, and after investigating on our own a little more, we accepted his proposal for a short sale, we signed a contract, and there was not a day and weekend he did not work his (behind) of to sell the house, and surprise, he sold it in less than 45 days later, and he convinced the bank to accept an offer less than half of what was owed, and we got letters from the bank that they would never come after us or report to the IRS any shortages of money.
We are so grateful with this guy, he liberated us from a great burden. I referred to him my other brothers, with houses outside this area, like Long Beach, and Las Vegas, and I have referred to him all my family and friends who have this same problem, he is the best on what he does. I would describe him like a "TICK", you cant stop him until he finishes the job, he is so persistent and professional, that I would recommend him to anyone with a problem like this.
